'Buried in soil and earth' is an ongoing body of work in which I explore my reliance to the Natural World through ritualistic, intimate and repetitive processes.

While I work I am asking myself, what purpose do the dyed, buried and re-surfaced fabrics have? How can they continue to have a part in my practice, and not become static and left behind? I don't wish for the connection to stop as soon as I dig them up, they aren't finished - fabrics should be used, worn, held, broken, mended.
